JA Solar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Was incorporated in December 2014. This facility was launched in October 23, 2015 and is the first oversea production facility wholly-owned by JA Solar. JA Solar Malaysia covers an area of 29 acres. It currently employs more than 1500 staffs. It specializes in producing high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells, one of the company’s core products.
The Company in 2017 has supplied the solar modules to Malaysia’s first utility-scale 50MW solar power farm in Sabah. The energy from the sun that is harnessed from JA Solar’s products is clean and free of any pollutants; unlike various sources of energy present today like coal and natural gas. We are proud to be able to contribute towards saving the environment and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
Equipment Engineer
Evaluate, inspect, maintain, design, analyse and improve various type of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment while maintaining cost within budget; support internal audit and response on the audit findings.
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for assisting the supervisor in daily production activities.
- Responsible in preparing the daily inspection checklist, monthly inspection checklist, maintenance checklist and ISO checklist.
- Responsible for solar cell production equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and conduct equipment troubleshooting to ensure efficient, safe and clean work environment.
- Analyze and monitor equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions.
- Work closely with Process Engineer to ensure maintenance work is carried out efficient and meeting company’s objective.
- Provide technical assistance in installation and maintenance of production equipment.
- Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability.
- Proactive equipment improvement project, monitor and improve equipment performance to maximize production output.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the technicians.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics or equivalent
- Candidate must has at least 2 years’ experience in related field. Fresh graduate is encourage to apply
- Candidate must be proactive and able to improve self as well as job
- Good in troubleshooting, programming and equipment installation background and experience.
- Computer literate (eg. Microsoft word/Excel/Powerpoint)
- Profession of acquiring and applying scientific, mathematical and practical knowledge to carry out engineering with a specific function area (e.g. Equipment, Facilities, Field Application, Manufacturing process and system design
- Required language(s): Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia
