OSRAM (M) Sdn. Bhd. – Global Shared Services Division is one of 3 Shared Services site under the OSRAM umbrella. OSRAM GSS had started its operations in 2015, operating from the 10th and 11th Floor of the EPF building situated strategically in the heart of Penang City. OSRAM GSS supports 21 countries around the globe – APAC, ASEAN, Greater CHINA and NAFTA. We provide end-to-end services in Accounting, Procurement as well as Human Resources.
Executive, General Ledger (Normal/Night Shift)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly closing activities for Business Groups
- Closing & reporting of Fixed Assets
- Preparation & posting of journal entries for Business Groups
- Preparing bank reconciliations.
- Prepare other reconciliation reports related to accounts and payroll
- Perform other ad hoc tasks and projects assigned
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the development of best practices related to these processes.
- Support root cause analysis of performance issues and support resolution via collaboration with internal customers.
- Drive continuous process improvements
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or related. 2-3 years working experiences on accounting field. GL or financial analysis is preference.
- Knowledge in SAP
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Well versed in the English language.
- Could work under stress.
- Rotational shift
