    HR Business Partner

    The role is based in Penang, Malaysia. As the ideal candidate, you will be the strategic business partner with responsibilities to listen, understand and exceed expectations of our partners to the extent possible. The successful individual is to deliver timely & quality services and solutions to meet business objectives.

    Additionally, they are to jointly resolve people issues with partners, upholding clear line of communication, integrity, confidentiality, impartiality and professionalism at all times. This role acts as a catalyst and proactively manages organizational effectiveness and change.

    What You Will Do

    • Collaborate with HR Center of Expertise (COEs) to drive HR initiatives that align to business strategy and support the achievement of the organization business objectives.
    • Partner and coach line managers in key HR processes (recruitment and selection, performance management, talent management) and continuously improve HR practices/processes.
    • Build and foster a culture of employee engagement to reinforce the organization’s business strategies and culture for continuous growth and improvement.
    • Actively involves in strategic human resources planning with line managers to meet challenging business and operational requirements.
    • Provides day-to-day HR services and support to the business.
    • Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

    What You Will Need

    • Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration
    • At least 6 years’ relevant experience, ideally in the semiconductor, manufacturing or electronics industry
    • Good knowledge of labour law / HR functions and processes
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact in a multi-cultural work environment
    • HR hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Charismatic and possess strong leadership

     

    Process Integration Engineer / Senior Engineer (PI)

    The role is based in Penang, Malaysia. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your technical strength, analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth in Process Engineering. Your role will include improving processes and wafer yields, increasing manufacturing productivity and lowering cost that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching Associate Engineers (AEs) will also be part of your job responsibilities.

    What You Will Do

    • Support development and qualification of new processes or add additional modules/features into existing processes.
    • Support new product introduction from tapeout till prototyping success.
    • Use process integration and semiconductor device knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve inline measurement and electrical test issues.
    • Identify and solve line and wafer yield related problems. Lead and drive issues to closure.
    • Optimize process margins through DOE (Design of Experiments).
    • Monitor critical inline measurement and electrical test parameters SPC trend and Cpk to ensure production wafers meet the require quality.
    • Opportunities for job rotation and overseas assignment.
    • Opportunities to file patents, author technical papers for publication and present at local or overseas seminars.

    What You Will Need

    • Masters/Degree in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical Engineering or Science in Physics/Material Science or related field.

    • Strong analytical, presentation & problem-solving skill.
    • Able to perform under fast paced and challenging environment.
    • Good understanding of Semiconductor process and device physics, Statistical knowledge (SPC) and Software (JMP) is a plus.

    Process Engineer / Senior Engineer (All Modules)

    The role is based in Penang, Malaysia. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth in Process Engineering. Your role will span across existing and new Fabs, improving processes and thereby wafer yields, increasing manufacturing productivity that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching Associate Engineers (AEs) will also be part of your job responsibilities.

    What You Will Do

    • Sustain production line, SPC/FDC (statistical process control / fault detection classification) monitoring, CPK improvement, and troubleshooting support for process and tool issues.
    • Support Process CIP (continuous improvement projects) to improve process robustness, cost and capacity efficiency thru –
      • Develop new process recipes for new/existing technologies.
      • Improve process performance indices adopting big data analytic, statistical analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
      • Work with cross functional teams, cross fabs and OEM suppliers for BKM (best known method) convergence on recipes, material, method and I4.0 automation.
    • Support company’s production ramp schedule by process qualification, productivity improvement and new tool release.
    • Provide training and guidance to Associate Engineers (AEs) to support day-to-day operational requirements.
    • Opportunities for job rotation and overseas assignment.
    • Opportunities to file patents, author technical papers for publication and present at local or overseas seminars.

    What You Will Need

    • MS/BS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemistry & Physics and other relevant qualification.
    • Good team player, able to work independently, resourceful, willing to learn new skills with good initiatives.
    • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written).
    • Knowledge in big data analysis and use of AI/ML, coding like python is a plus.
    • Knowledge in wafer fabrication is a plus.

     

    Process Engineer – Etest

    The role is based in Penang, Malaysia. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth in eTest (Electrical Test) Engineering. Your role will span across existing and new Fabs, improving eTest operation and provide eTest solution for process monitoring, increasing manufacturing productivity that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching Associate Engineers (AEs) will also be part of your job responsibilities.

    What You Will Do

    • Liaise with process owners/customers to support ET (electrical test) programs implementation for all technologies and devices. Ensure proper ET program correlation and buyoff.
    • Support production line, ETSPC (ET statistical process control) monitoring and troubleshooting support for equipment or probe card related issues.
    • Support department CIP (continuous improvement projects) to improve test operation, cost and capacity efficiency thru –
      • Plan, develop and implement new eTest program and hardware for Electrical Test which includes qualification and release new Tester/hardware/probe card.
      • Work with cross functional teams, cross fabs and OEM suppliers for BKM (best known method) convergence on ET programs.
    • Support production ramp through test time improvement, productivity improvement and new tool release.
    • Provide training and guidance to Associate Engineers (AEs) to support day-to-day operational requirements.
    • Opportunities to file patents, author technical papers for publication and present at local or overseas seminars.

    What You Will Need

    • MS/BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering.
    • Good team player, able to work independently, resourceful, willing to learn new skills with good initiatives.

    • Knowledge in C/C++ code, BASIC languages and coding like python is a plus.
    • Knowledge in wafer fabrication is a plus.

     

    Process Engineer / Senior Engineer, Yield Engineering (YE)

    The role is based in Penang, Malaysia. As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your technical strength, analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth in Process Engineering. Your role will span across existing and new Fabs, improving processes and thereby wafer yields, increasing manufacturing productivity and lowering cost that are key to achieving Fab excellence. Coaching engineers will also be part of your job responsibilities.

    What You Will Do

    • Develop new processes or add additional modules/features into existing processes.
    • Support customer new designs with module characterization, design rule development.
    • Use device knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve inline Etest and sort issues.
    • Device/Process Owner and drive issues to closure.
    • Run DOE to optimize process margins and determine process & ET specifications
    • Monitor ET and inline OOC and maintain good CPK for ET and monitor inline SPC parameters
    • Identify and resolve process integration issues and ET and Yield related problems
    • Identify yield opportunities and set preliminary yield targets
    • Run prototype lots on new or derivative processes

    What You Will Need

    • Masters/Degree in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical Engineering or Science in Physics/Material Science or related field
    • Strong understanding of device physics and SPC and Statistical knowledge (JMP) will be an added advantage.
