    WEB DEVELOPER (BACKEND)

    We are looking for a savvy Backend Developer to join our tech team. Working behind the scenes, the ideal candidate has a unique blend of technical expertise and insatiable curiosity, with a methodical, analytical mindset. You should be comfortable working alongside a team as well as independently in the design and development of mission-critical websites, applications, and layers of the infrastructure. If you’re dedicated and ambitious, EasyParcel is an excellent place to grow your career.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with other designers and developers.
    • Creating beautiful and fast code that improves our code base in meaningful ways.
    • Fixing bugs fast and taking your time to solve hard problems well.
    • Using test-driven development to write well-tested code.

    Requirements:

    • Experience with building backend web services using several languages (NodeJS, PHP are our major language).
    • Experience with relational databases, NoSQL, Redis.
    • Experience with development on a leading cloud provider (Alicloud, AWS, GCP, etc.)
    • Experience with Git version control system.
    • Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems.
    • Fast learner and able to work independently.
    • Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things.
    • Applicants must be willing to work in Penang.
