    We are seeking the passionate individual to join as:

    Assistant Administration Officer

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for AP and AR management, collating and checking all supporting documents (i.e. billings, invoices, and etc.) as well as verifying the sources of information for further action
    • Handles billing enquiries, verifying billings and invoices received from vendors and contractors, ensuring information has been captured in the PA system for the preparation of AP cheques for payments
    • Collates information for use in AR ledgers to ensure accurate identification of overpayments, deductions and adjustment of customer claims based on the  verified documents with guidance from senior team members
    • Raises sales invoices within the intended time frame and generates AR invoices, including following up on all overdue accounts payments and recharges to reduce debtors to optimum level and to reflect net monthly payment terms
    • Provides AP & AR updates in JDE, ensuring all records or entries on transactions and payments issued or received are properly kept and maintained for audit trail
    • Prepares, documents and disburses payroll checks/ direct deposits, employee benefit payments, employee statement of earnings and updates data into payroll system (Sage UBS)
    • Supports the coordination efforts between payroll, human resource and other relevant departments to ensure proper flow and regular maintenance of employee data
    • Responds to routine inquiries from managers and employees and maintains updating of payroll system (i.e. posting new hires on the payroll system, terminating employees on the system, changing of employee status to active/inactive, etc.) with guidance from senior team members
    • Executes routine administrative responsibilities

    Job Requirements:

    • Good proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
    • Good knowledge user of Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
    • Some knowledge in accounts payables, accounts receivable, financial accounting systems and associated financial platforms
    • Some knowledge of HR Policies (e.g. EPF Act, Retirement Act, Income Tax Act and etc.)
    • Some knowledge of Malaysia’s financial/ tax regulations and legislation
