Junior Research Associate
Job description:
We are looking for a bright, thoughtful junior research associate to join our investment research team in Malaysia. The job includes supporting the U.S.-based investment team in conducting fundamental research on companies, industries, and economies within which these operate, building financial and other quantitative models, gathering, manipulating, and interpreting data, and conducting qualitative due diligence through interviews and case studies. No prior investing experience is necessary.
What we are looking for:
● Recent or upcoming university graduate with a strong background in formal logic, engineering, law, accounting, mathematics/statistics, or economics.
● Raw analytical ability, as evidenced by outstanding academic credentials and achievement.
● A passion for global value investing.
● Fluency in English; Mandarin fluency and other foreign language skills are a plus.
