At Cypress Semiconductor Malaysia, we have the following open positions in Nov/Dec:
GL Accountants
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly GL closing activities to ensure timely close.
- Conduct adhoc centralization/COE project
- Perform finance shared service accounting activities and processes.
- Perform monthly analysis of financial statements (FS) to ensure accuracy
- Ensure financial statements are in compliance with both US GAAP and Local GAAP.
- Support internal and external US GAAP, Local GAAP audit & SOX audit.
- Conduct system testing and golive cutover support and resolving issues, if any
- Support Corporate on SEC ruling, monthly financial package and external reporting.
- Participating in statutory and SOX Audit.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or Professional Accounting qualification.
- Preferably >2 years of experience in audits and accounting related environment or a manufacturing MNC
- Ability to work independently with good analytical skill and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage pressure and deliver results.
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skill
- High integrity, Pleasant personality with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Proficient in both Oracle, US Gaap and Microsoft Office.
AP Accountants/ Sr. AP Accountants
Job Responsibilities:
- To support Shared Service Accounts Payables (AP) activities and processes, by ensuring high quality productivity in invoicing, issues resolution or payment.
- Ability to initiate business process and system enhancement based on best practice of shared services.
- Adept at handling issues on invoice discrepancies and offer resolution.
- Execute and Ensure timely month end closing activities with involvement on AP reconciliation.
- Ability to process invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Knowledge on payment execution and vendor master maintenance will be an added advantage.
- To lead and manage a team of handful headcountss
- Adhoc continuous improvement projects
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or Professional Accounting qualification
- Preferably >5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Ability to work independently with good issues resolution skill and details orientated.
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skill.
- High integrity, pleasant personality with a can-do attitude, agile and willingness to learn.
- Good command of Accounting knowledge.
- Proficient in both Oracle, US Gaap and Microsoft Office
