Planner/Buyer (Permanent)
Job Requirements:
– Candidate must possess at least a Diploma and Advanced Higher Graduate Diploma in Economics Business Studies/Administrating Management, Marketing, Purchasing Commerce or equivalent.
– Preferably 2-3 years experience in sourcing and purchasing of raw materials and spare parts,
– Familiarity in Navision System Software will be added advantage.
– Responsible for daily operation and can work under pressure
– Working knowledge of international sourcing will be and added advantage
– Good leadership with teamwork, responsible, attentive, high integrity of working attitude, good negotiation and communication skills.
– Computer literate and able to work independently
– Seek new sources, ensure product and services meet user specs and highlight alternatives if possible
– Ensure timely and accurate processing of all purchase and delivery.
Job Descriptions:
– Assist production Planner & Procurement Section for materials planning based on sales plan and product.
– Assit procurement section for sourcing, evaluating and auditing vendor for performance and quality.
– Handling of full-range of purchases
– Sourcing if best quality raw materials and spare parts locally and overseas at the best price to ensure best profit margin gains
– Responsible for material planning analysis buying expediting and inventory control
– Monitoring of delivery, cycle time and stock analysis and consumption for raw mat preparation
– Handling of any and ad-hoc tasks assigned as required from time to time.
