Sara Beattie MDC Sdn Bhd, an Education Consultancy providing advisory services to parents who are preparing their children in US Test Prep and academic excellence to study in America. We work mainly with the age group of 15-18 years, but have some younger students who seek to improve their English and some post graduate students between ages of 23-35. Our students are all high achievers among the top 10 percent of each school. Our systems and methods are world class and there is a great deal you can learn to enhance your career.
Business Development Executive
If you are experienced in student recruitment for overseas studies, and are interested in working with an American Test Prep company, this is an opportunity for you. We prepare students to improve their Entrance Test Scores and to improve their academic ability by early attention to going overseas. We love working with parents and students, schools and universities, advising them about further education opportunities, choice of Universities and Biz Schools in the US. You only need about 3 years working experience. We train you, but you must be a resident of Penang with more than average English preferable with a good working knowledge of schools in Penang and North Malaysia. About 60% of your work is to meet with schools, universities in Penang and North Malaysia as well as running Seminars and Workshops.
Job Descriptions:
- Ensure that the annual international students enrolment targets are achieved within the approved budget
- Strategize and plan effectively to ensure that the time and resources needed are utilized efficiently
- Ensure that all action plans are carried out effectively within the time frame given
- Ensure prompt and effective response to enquiries from agents, prospective students and parents
- Conduct research on potential new territories and make recommendations
- Establish strategic focus on institutional collaborations
Job Requirements:
- Need to possess a recognized Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related discipline with 2 years of working experience in the related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- You do need to have a high standard of English
- Good computer skills in PP and excel essential
- An outgoing personality with a desire and ability to connect with academic institutions of higher learning and study abroad to position our products and services is necessary.
- If you have worked in any areas of student advisory services with students aged 15-35 to study abroad, it would be a great asset.
Part Time Weekend Teachers (for US Test Prep)
(With a Passion for Learning & Training Others) Local or Expats living in Penang
We offer US Test Prep and seek part time teachers, candidates must be overseas educated in Canada, Australia, UK or America and be aged 26-35. Full training and US Certification given to candidates who can teach at the University or Biz School entrance level both Math & English. You must have a high GPA and be available some weekends and at least 1 or 2 weeks. The work is not continuous and can easily fit in with any Graduate keen to help bright students headed for the US. We also run a number of Seminars and Workshops to prepare students about the cultural differences and expectation of living in a country with 4 seasons. All or learning is fun and empowering.
