System Analyst
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
- Min 3 years working experience in Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services across data centers on premise & the cloud.
- Experience in VMware virtual center with knowledge of server high-availability implementations.
- Knowledge in supporting hybrid cloud environment
- Experience with LAN, WLAN & VLAN, configuring equipment, troubleshooting and problem resolution is desired.
- Experience in storage management system preferred.
- Working experience in SQL database administration preferred.
- Possess good communication, interpersonal and planning skills.
- Good team player with positive outlook and attitude and able to work independently.
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Brief Job Descriptions:
- Support data center and monitor server performance.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis on Window servers, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as required.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Provide technical support, training requirements and advisory relating to network, server, computer systems, applications and users.
- Ensure smooth operations to all the related hardware, network and software, including IT acquisition and implementation.
- Develop IT requirements and recommend the action plans for implementation.
