Established on the 5th of November 2004, investPenang is a non-profit entity of the Penang State Government with the primary purpose of promoting investments within Penang. As the principal investment promotion agency of the State, its objectives are to sustain and rejuvenate Penang’s economy by enhancing and continously injecting business activities in the State through the promotion of foreign and local investments including the spawning of viable new growth centres. Invest-in-Penang Berhad is a one stop agency which provides comprehensive information on Penang’s investment opportunities and facilitates the running of a business at every stage including the setting up of a new investment.
Industrial Trainee (under Penang Career Assistance and Talent Centre- Penang Future Foundation)
Summary of job responsibilities
Provides administrative support for the Career Assistance and Talent Centre, the Secretariat to Penang Future Foundation (PFF) Scholarship. Avoid too much details of PFF to the public. We may not know what desperate parents can do.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in attending all registrant on application procedure, terms and conditions of policy.
- Maintain and update registrant database including personal files/records, legal agreements and related documents are kept in line with standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Supply data for weekly management reporting.
- Assist in processing applications, printing, checking and verification, filing of documents, candidate short-listing, interview coordination, offer notification and actions on delinquent member.
- Support, organize and participate in events related to CAT Centre and/or Invest Penang including work required after office hours or weekends.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned and directed by Management.
Required qualification, skill and experience
a. Academic qualifications of Diploma or above
b. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
c. This position is a contract position for 6 months only
d. Interested candidate must commit to work for 6 months
