Being one of Intel’s largest Assembly Test Manufacturing (ATM) sites, the Malaysia ATM facility consists of three factories with thousands of diverse employees and is responsible for new product assembly and testing, new technology introductions and the high volume manufacturing.
Manufacturing Technician – Contract
Job Description:
- Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment’s process and training.
- Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
- Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and sustaining.
- In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
- The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy program, a trainer and is in charge of updating training manuals.
- Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
- High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.
Qualifications:
Diploma in any engineering field with great positive and growth mindset.
Manufacturing Operator – Contract
Job Description:
- Manufacturing Operator Contract Employees (ICE) are responsible for performing functions associated with Assembly and Test operations including equipment functionality and process.
- Candidates required to perform setup, calibration, run lots, operate and minor maintenance tasks on equipment and process.
- Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment respond and ensure process optimization.
- Participates in safety forums and site Emergency Response Team as required. Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature.
- Work performed within defined parameters.
- Minimum judgment required in resolving standard problems. Candidates will receive some detailed instructions on all work.
- Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.
Qualifications:
- SPM/SPVM/STPM/Certificate from a recognized institute
- Applicants from science stream will have an added advantage
- Ability to read and write in English
- Willing to work a 12-hour rotating day/night shift schedule
- Applicants with or without working experience are encouraged to apply
