VP of Operation / Operation Manager (1 Position)
Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or equivalent.
Summary of Basic Job Function
The primary roles of the VP of Operations’ fall into five broad categories:
1. Shape and develop division strategy and organization.
- Ensure proper report structure with divisions and departments
- Help identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each division
2. Advise the COO on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues that relate and impact the operations of the company.
- Determine resource allocation among divisions
- Keep the President informed about business activities, performance, opportunities, and recommended courses of action
3. Lead managers to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
- Challenge basic assumptions underlying each division’s operations
- Act as a sounding board for division heads
4. Set performance goals tailored to each division.
- Develop operational goals for each division which are aggressive, yet obtainable, and tied to long-term goals of the company
5. Monitor division performance against performance goals to ensure progress is being made and corrective action, if necessary, is taken.
- Ensure adherence to annual budgets
- Build an organizational culture in which passion for continuous improvement is innate
Summary of Basic Job Function
- Strategic management of the production, shipping, receiving, technology, inventory, and facility
management departments
- Optimization of customer satisfaction/loyalty through improved operations
- Implementation of productivity/quality metrics and of incentive programs designed to minimize
costs and enhance efficiency
- Effective planning and layout of workflow, equipment, and assembly procedures
- Maximizing of workforce
- Budget Planning
- OSHA compliance
- Improvement of quality by researching best practices and identifying new/needed skills,
processes or methods
Molding Engineer (1 Position)
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Summary of Basic Job Function
- Molding machine performance and yield report compilation and analysis
- Daily monitor and control production waste/ scrap and generate weekly/monthly reports.
- Respond to internal and external customers’ complaints, actions follow-up till closure.
- Attend daily Molding meeting and internal weekly meeting
- Respond to internal and external audits, actions follow-up till closure
- Resin stock management.
- To support internal training and training manual preparation. WIs and OPLs preparation.
- Housekeeping and 5S in the production line
- Responsible for the parts quality and delivery to customer
- Responsible for process yield improvement, establish production process control procedure,
improve production / product quality.
- Prepare detailed validation summary report and present to key senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all equipment, process, usability, quality, and safety aspects are considered to deliver
robust, capable solutions in production.
- Support the value streams in root cause analysis when presented with issue in production
related to moulding processes and equipment.
- Build a network of key suppliers to learn and deploy new and emerging moulding technique
and best practice.
- Any other tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior
