    1.Lean Manufacturing Executive

    The Role:

    Within the guidance of the Lean Manufacturing Manager, facilitates TPS, DMAIC and Mass Innovation initiatives across the whole Plant; and ensures improvements are sustained, in support of the business objectives and annual operating plans.

    Key Accountability Areas:
    DMAIC Training & projects:

    • Assist the Lean Manufacturing Manager in developing the DMAIC training materials catering to the needs of the different populations.

    • Deliver training with the relevant DMAIC tools and techniques to the DMAIC project teams (i.e. learning groups.).

    • Participate in select DMAIC projects to familiarize with the DMAIC methodology.

    • Provide guidance on the DMAIC projects as needed and assist in regularly reviewing with project owners to pulse on the progress of progress / status.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Implement programs developed by Lean Manufacturing Manager to equip staff across the Plant with continuous improvement tools, processes and technologies to leverage on the structured and systematic way to tackle problems.

    • Assist Lean Manufacturing Manager in evaluating the ideas generated from such programs and introduce improvement projects for suitable ideas as appropriate.

    • review control and sustainability efforts with project owners as part of the project exit criteria.

    Mass Innovation Initiatives

    • Encourage Mass Innovation projects across different levels within the Plant. Identify and recommend effective means of recognizing Mass Innovation Project.

    • Provide Mass Innovation Project Support (e.g. root cause identification, problem solving skills, data analysis

    • Provide the project managers with training and support in project write-ups to ensure project owners document and share their projects across the Plant and Group through the sharing platforms.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma/Degree In any related discipline

    • Minimum  3 years of working experience in related field

     

    2. Industrial Engineering Executive

    The Role:

    Reporting to the  Industrial Engineering Manager. Responsible to provide the Factory with the concepts, tools, and processes to maximize the productivity of manpower, machines and space in support of the Factory’s KPI targets.

    Key Accountability Areas:

    1. Factory Layout and Intra-Factory Logistics

    To  assist the Industrial Engineering Manager in designing the Factory layout.  Identify opportunities for improving the Factory layout, and recommend changes to the Industrial Engineering Manager as needed.
    To assist the Industrial Engineering Manager in developing the tools and processes for effective transportation of materials between various areas of the Factory and implement such tools and processes.
    Using Industrial Engineering concepts, such as just-in-time and visual management, to identify material transport improvement opportunities.  Implement improvement initiatives as agreed with Industrial Engineering Manager.

    2. Efficiency Improvement

    • Using the “motion economy” principles to identify opportunities for work content reduction through time and motion studies. Implement improvement initiatives as agreed with Industrial Engineering Manager.

    • Develop work aids to reduce work content.   Seek assistance from Folder Technician / Facilities Engineers / Mechanics as necessary.

    • Provide training and guidance to the Operations team to ensure the implementation of standards as laid out under our organization  TPS (TAL production system) program.

    • To assist Industrial Engineering Manager in evaluating the work content reduction opportunity and calculating Return-on-Investment (ROI) of new machines recommended by the Chief Mechanic.

    3. Continuous Improvement

    • To assist Industrial Engineering Manager in applying Kaizen tools and systems and implementing projects such as the one-piece-flow production line which have learning scalable to all production lines.

    • To  provide the Operations team with adequate industrial engineering support to continually improve the production efficiencies through improvement in the balancing of production lines.

    4. Ergonomic Work Environment

    • To identify key opportunities for cost-effective ergonomic improvement.  Implement improvement initiatives as agreed with Industrial Engineering Manager.

    • To train employees on the benefits of ergonomics to ensure ergonomic standards are followed.

    Requirements :

    • Diploma/Degree In Industrial Engineering or equivalent

    • Experience: at least 3 years of working experience in related field

    3. Customer Service Manager

    The role:

    • Manage and deliver superior account management to our international based customers from US and Asia
    • Drive high customer satisfaction and business performance in line with company requirements
    • Build a complete understanding of customer’s businesses
    • Attend to customer order fulfillment, maintain good rapport
    • Pro-actively follow-up on order fulfillment coordination
    • Attend and channeling customer feedback promptly and address concerns to enhance excellent customer relationship
    • Coordinate with respective departments to ensure on time delivery
    • Adapt effective and efficient methods to assist team cohesiveness, increase employee motivation, drive higher performance standards, and monitoring performance
    • Lead, coach and develop high customer-satisfaction focused service teams
    • Maintain an effective organization and communication network that is capable of responding to the needs of customers, as well as providing an immediate solution to daily problems
    • Strive to attain department goals and KPIs

    Qualifications:

    • Degree holder with at least 5 years experience in related field with some managerial/supervisory experience
    • Excellent managerial, customer communication and interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
    • A proven track-record of building strong customer relationships
