In our newly acquired factory in Penang we develop and manufacture modern car multimedia systems, amplifiers and speakers. In order to realize our future growth ambitions we are looking for talented and motivated engineers, officers and managers to join us.
Purchasing Senior Executive
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1) Basic Purchasing Activities
a) To inquire for best offer
b) To Negotiate an approve terms and conditions with supplier to the best interest of the company
c) To liaise with the suppliers on quality and delivery
d) To coordinate ordering of new parts for assigned new projects
e) To expedite new tooling progress and parts approval
f) To maintain SAP purchasing screen
g) To prepare price contract
h) To seek for material ratio
i) To coordinate all procurement activities
j) To support the implementation and compliance of TS16949, ISO1400 and etc
k) To work together and support each other within PUR
l) Other related work assigned from time to time
2) Responsible for Customer RFQ Activities
a) Support ENG in concept definition
b) Identify critical part (EOL, blocked part, etc) support to identify alternative parts.
c) Identify cost down possibilities
d) Provide TSTK calculation, buy-off EWAK calculating by ENG
e) Support for supplier related information need by customer.
3) Responsibility or purchasing activities for new project assigned
a) Sourcing of potential Suppliers for unique part / product according to requirement define by ENG and customer
i. Provide necessary document to suppliers
ii. Request quotation for part and tooling needed based on supplier list
iii. Negotiation according to target price calculated in Customer RFQ and part value analysis
iv. Supplier selection based on cost, quality, delivery and support, involving necessary department
v. Supplier selection presented management board for approval
b) Qualification for part / product
i. Work with suppliers and ENG to ensure the specification is clearly defined and can be met
ii. Kick off release procedure
c) Technical issue follows up
i. Organize Early Concept Involvement (ECI) and Early Supplier Involvement (ESI)
Required qualification, skill and experience
REQUIREMENT:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): negotiation, Tender Processes.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
- At least 5-7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Juru,Autocity.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
