Program Director
The Program Director is responsible to achieve retained budget revenue, EBITDA, FOCF and KPIs and identifying possibilities to go beyond the budget or business case. The program Director also supports Account Managers, and pro-actively identify opportunities, for new revenue sources within existing accounts and to successful implement and sustain new (multiple) programs and assists the General Manager in the ambitious and successful growth of the company.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Lead the BU to meet company goals on quality cost, deliveries and financial performance.
- Focal point of communication with customer
- Ensure all commercial aspects are in line with business needs
- Responsible for overall Profit and Loss of the BU
- Maximize the scope of works and revenue to ensure growth of the business
- Tracking key performance metrics to meet the corporate and company goals
- Manage all the personnel who support BU (directly and indirectly)
- Responsible for successful implementation and sustaining of new programs which is measured against the client satisfaction
- Manage internal relationships to provide communication of customer requirements and implementation of customer program(s)
- Lead, identify and work with customer and internal Teleplan teams to resolve all customer operational performance issues that impact the agreed KPI’s, SLA’s, customer’s experience or revenue and profit goals
- Is the Contract Expert and has a full understanding of it and the SOW
- Identifies and follow through on opportunities to maximize retained account target revenue within current accounts.
- Key contributor in the Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) in terms of monthly forecasts whereby engineering and/or product changes are taken into account.
- Optimize inventory by periodically monitoring availability measured against inventory turn rate.
- Review slow moving parts monthly with GM & Customer and develop/implement plan to minimize E&O exposure/costs to both parties
- Responsible for KPI’s for the programs are met.
- Managing the QBR/MBR/YBR process throughout the year.
- Responsible for the review of invoices for accuracy and insures delivery to the Customer(s) as per the billing frequency
- Responsible for converting EBITDA into FOCF by inventory yield and maximizing A/R, A/P.
- Identify new business opportunities by developing a complete and thorough knowledge of each customer’s business model and collaborate with Sales & Account teams
- Other duties as assigned
Education/ Work Experience:
- Preferably Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics or job related field.
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a global environment and position.
- Preferably experience in the AMS space
- Understanding of ISO9011, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Must have the ability to bring immediate credibility to the function throughout his/her professional qualifications and leadership skills and project the highest level of integrity
- Provides strategic leadership and direction – sets demanding & visionary goals
- Comfortable in dealing with customers
