Painting Manager
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, the successful candidate is tasked to oversee
the operation of Painting Section, to plan, assign and direct the work in 2 paint lines
including plastic and metal paint line. The successful candidate would also be responsible
for the following tasks:
To oversee and monitor the outgoing product to ensure the quality and stability of the
Painting Section.
Requisition of necessary tools and materials for various projects and monitor the
delivery of supplies.
To ensure the supplies and parts are successfully delivered to Painting Section,
placed and stored in the designated location neatly and safely.
Liaise with Safety Section to ensure safety in the workplace.
To supervise subordinates and lead them to improve in terms of work efficiency in
Painting Section.
To ensure the cost effectiveness in Painting Section including the control of labour
utilization, production downtime, defective parts and damage of equipments.
To monitor training needs and to propose for necessary training of subordinates and
ensure the effectiveness of the training by carrying out training evaluation.
The successful candidates must possess the following qualifications and
criteria:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Chemical Engineering or
its equivalent.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Manufacturing Field, preferable in the
Automotive Industry.
Candidates must have sound knowledge in Painting methods, processes, materials,
tools and equipments.
Fluency in English is a must.
Additional requirements:
– Experienced and able to execute plan, supervise and control the work of
subordinates.
– Good communication skills, analytic mind and good numeracy skills.
– Excellent in financial acumen.
– Good intuition to make crucial judgment calls.
– Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and operating procedure
manuals.
Personal Assistant – Japanese Speaking
Reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for
the following tasks:
To assist the Chief Manufacturing Officer to communicate with all departments.
To make appointment, travel arrangement, hotel reservation, and to coordinate business
schedule and company events related functions.
To prepare and translate the documents (e.g. meeting minutes) from English to
Japanese and vice versa.
Japanese Speaking Translator
Reporting to the Motorsports Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the
following tasks:
To coordinate with event organizer (e.g. local or oversea) on event’s schedule and make
necessary arrangement.
To support on the administration tasks of Motorsports Department.
To assist the Honda riders (Malaysian & Japanese) in their communication during racing
events.
To prepare and translate reports/news from English to Japanese and vice versa on the
outcome of racing events.
The successful candidates must possess the following qualifications and criteria:
A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field. However, candidates with qualifications in
Secretarial, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Communication, Engineering
and Languages will be an advantage.
Fluent in Japanese Language (at least N3), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to speak, write and type well in Japanese Language.
Able to liaise and communicate well with all levels including external bodies.
Able to multi-task, keep calm thru the challenging situation, and meet tight schedule.
Good working attitude, mature personality, and able to work under minimum supervision.
Good organizational skills and able to maintain confidentiality at all the time.
