Association of Resource & Education for Autistic Children (Lions REACh) is a service-based organization which provides free educational programmes and services for persons with autism and their families.
Lions REACh offers a total of 17 programs and 9 services for the persons with autism. We work towards a “family-like” structure at our centre where parents and teachers are involved in the programmes together with the children.
We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, drive and passion to teach and guide our special needs children.
Requirement:
- Possess Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in psychology/special education/education or equivalent.
- With/without working experience are encouraged to apply.
- Loves children, caring, thoughtful, friendly and polite.
- Willing to handle special needs children.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- 3 Full-Time position(s) available.
Required skills needed to be considered for this position:
- Reliable and good organisation skill
- Passionate about working with special needs people.
- Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
- Proficient in Ms Word and Ms Excel.
Job Scope:
- Teach children on one-to-one basis.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each child.
- Assess and prepare progress report for children.
- Prepare lessons and resources for class.
- Plan, conduct and evaluate group programmes assigned.
- Perform related work as required.
