Finance Officer
Job description:
- Perform daily book keeping transactions
- Handle petty cash claims
- Handle full set accounts, profit & loss and balance sheet
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly management/financial reports including cash flows
- Prepare programs expenses/reports upon request
- Perform monthly bank/cash reconciliations and funds in bank is accounted for
- Ensure prompt payment to vendors/suppliers
- Handle monthly fixed asset record listing and depreciations
- Ensure finance documents/reports are properly filed
- Assist in preparing yearly work plan for Admin & Finance department
- Assist in compiling the program budgets and ensure within the budget allocations
- Liaise with Auditor on yearly accounts audit and tax compliance
- Assist on matters related to Admin & HR and other matters when assigned by the Management
Required qualification, skill and experience:
LLCI Higher/ Diploma in Accounting/ Finance/ Business with at least 4 to 6 years’ experience. Knowledge in accounting system will be an added advantage.
Have plenty of energy, a calm ‘customer focused’ manner, the ability to cope with pressure, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent project management skills.
To be able to work independently with minimal supervision and must be computer literate.
