    JED Centre Sdn Bhd, a fully owned subsidiary of Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd (JSL), is a design office of a leading shipyard offering integrated services and customized solutions in ship repair, ship building, ship conversion, rig building and offshore engineering. With over 46 years of experience, JSL has earned a reputation as a premier shipyard in the region with a proven track record and strong marine and offshore engineering capabilities. JSL has over four decades of experience in the marine engineering business.

    As part of our expansion, we are seeking passionate personal to join our design team office situated in Bayan Baru,Penang.

    Engineer / Assistant Engineer

    Responsibilities:

     Carry out engineering design of various projects ranging from oil rig construction, ship conversion and offshore engineering.

     Prepare engineering drawings according to Classification Societies and Clients’ requirements.

    Requirements:

     Candidate must possess at least an Engineering Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronics, Marine or Naval Architecture.

     Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply. (Training will be provided)

    Draftsma

    Responsibilities:

     Assists Engineers and Assistant Engineers in drafting various 2-D and 3-D drawings.

    Requirement:

     Drafting experience in Structural, Piping, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering drawings.

     SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply. (Training will be provided)
