Eaton Industries Sdn Bhd provide reliable, efficient and safe power management solutions, we manufactures Low Voltage & Medium Voltage switchgears such as distribution boards, panel boards and circuit breakers. Eaton Industries plant assembles electrical distribution and controls products up to 6300 Amperes and 660 Volts for the residential, commercial and light industrial market segments. The core volume products are single-phase consumers units and three-phase distribution boards (also known as loadcenters), miniature circuit breakers (MCB). Other products are molded-case circuit breakers(MCCB) panelboards, switch and switchfuses.
Customer Order Engineer
Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
To plan and coordinate with the respective departments in general and especially where the Project Business involves the IEC Switchgear Assemblies product range under low and medium voltage products.
Prepare Bill of Material for IEC Switchgear Assemblies using available tools.
Prepare shop drawings and other related documents for Production
To liaise closely with Customer Service department on the project requirement.
Implement and supervision of various projects in parallel in order to deliver in a timely manner in accordance with command
Drafting of various technical documents with regard to the design, testing, commissioning and delivery in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines
Prepare replies to customer comments on technical submittals in coordination with project management.
To discuss/clarify with Sales/Dealers/Contractors on the Project specification in general and especially where the Project specifications. Attend meeting with customers/contractors/ consultants for technical discussions
To attend to complaints relating to the project and to visit site for implementing corrective action as and when required
To ensure continuous services/technical support are being rendered to internal/external customers.
To provide advice/instruction on the wiring/installation according to Electrical Standard to production or Sales personnel especially where it involves the product range under Project Business.
To assist in training or upgrading skills and knowledge for the final assembly line operator and technicians.
Required qualification, skill and experience:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years working experience in a manufacturing Environment.
Use of design tool or software – experience in AutoCad Autodesk is preferred.
Project Management – experience in Microsoft Project software is added advantage
LEAN manufacturing – experience in LEAN is added advantage
Pro-Launch – experience in this is added advantage
