General Ledger
- Perform end to end general ledger activities, inclusive of journals, fixed assets, period end closing activities
- Intercompany reconciliations and reporting, work closely with required parties to identify and resolve differences with Intercompany balances
- Supporting in performing other reports
- Participate in internal continuous improvement initiative
Accounts Payable
- Perform invoice verification and processing, ensuring invoices are adequately authorized, invoice / employee expense claim/ GRIR are successfully and accurately coded and processed
- Supporting in generate and review aged items, and proposed recommendation to site
- Participate in internal continuous improvement initiative
Accounts Receivable
- Manage cash application process using bank statements and matching of receipts
- Generate billing for customers
- Supporting in generate and review aged items, and proposed recommendation to site
- Participate in internal continuous improvement initiative
Intake open all year..
Duration of Internship: Preferably 6 months, but not less than 4 months (1 complete semester)
The qualification background of intern :
Academic Requirement:
3rd year/ final year Accounting student with good academic standing CGPA>3.4
Must possess strong finance and accounting background and interests
Those with CGPA<3.4, but active in college/ university activities will be considered
Specific Skills Required:
- Min 3rd year Accounting student with good communications (written and verbal) skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) is necessary
- Must be able to work independently
- Additional requirements include:
– Good command of English
– Self initiated and attention to detail
– Sense of urgency in completion of tasks assigned
– Ability to manage own time and resources to meet commitments
– Knowledge of SAP* would be an added advantage
