Graphic Designer
Job description:
- Knowledge of structural designing to design the model houses and other designing needs.
- Designing models, backgrounds, characters, packaging, objects and the animation environment.
- Designing advertising and promotional materials such as website, flyers, newspaper advertisement and other related products.
- Creative thinking to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Able to contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
- Other tasks assigned by Management as and when needed.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Art/ Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/ Media or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Arts/ Creative/ Graphics Design or equivalent.
- Requires skill(s): Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Dream Weaver, Flash and other web tools.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with good command of English.
- Hardworking, initiative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
Purchaser/ Customer Service and Buyer
Job description:
- To ensure that the procurement process in adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure that the purchases are cost effective and best in quality.
- To analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and cost implication.
- Prepare and submit routine reports and analyze supplier products, pricing and specification are within the company’s requirement.
- Ensure compliance with pricing and policy guidelines based on market intelligence and competitor positioning.
- Implement new sourcing strategies that bring long term and sustainable on activities and projects.
- Tracking, review and report monthly strategic sourcing progress & negotiation cost.
- Attend to customers’ request pertaining to the services offered.
- Provide immediate attention to customers’ problem and follow up with appropriate resolution
- Provide accurate, efficient and quality service that exceeds the customers’ expectations.
- Adhere to escalation procedures of handling customer complaints at all times.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism to uphold the best in class image of company
- Purchase of direct and indirect parts as required, review reports and schedule PO accordingly.
- Work closely with the operation team in inventory control, i.e. monitor safely stock level periodically, and monitor the top value item inventory.
- Work closely with suppliers on delivery and quality of parts. Ensure suppliers adhere strictly to delivery date and to meet the quality requirement and standards.
- Meet purchasing metrics/ indicators and meet customers’ satisfaction.
- Any other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Preferable tertiary education with minimum of 3 years of working experience in the related field.
- Good verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proactive, team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
- To be based in Prai, Penang.
