    Internship for Computer/IT Students

    Responsibilities:

    • To create a system to track all DEFOAs including issue description, containment, root cause, corrective action, preventive action, monitoring status. With this system, anyone can perform a search for any DEFOA using order number as the key entry and retrieve the above information when needed.
    • To create a system to track all instruments required for calibration. To host, tracks and triggers/alerts owners of instruments. (Compliance to ISO13485 and at minimum complies to ISO9001).

    • Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

    In this position, you will be responsible for administering sales compensation activities for Field Sales employees and Manufacturer Representative who are on incentive pay plans or contracts. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    • Evaluates sales incentive program and design and determine action required to deliver sales incentive support in terms of compensation structure, setup, incentive calculation, quota credit maintenance and MR administration in Agilent ERP systems.

    Malaysia Global Trade Manager – Expert – 2061052

    Responsibilities:

    • Work proactively with key business partners (Agilent OFS/Manufacturing) to ensure compliant trade and non-trade imports and exports by Agilent’s businesses and functions across all Malaysian ports of entry, including adherence to all applicable U.S./non-U.S., and local laws and regulations and with Agilent’s policies.
    • Focus on compliance oversight of Agilent businesses. Work specifically with the local customer care center and logistics personnel on requirements and strategies for their procedures and operations. Provide training and awareness to these teams on their application to their teams
    • Provide consulting and awareness on the key aspects of country of origin requirements for the manufacturing activity in Penang.
    • Review products/services for impact of regulations such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Customs Regulations.
    • Train, consult with, and advise employees through assessments and audits of international trade practices of businesses.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Finance, Accounting or other related field, business or equivalent experience in international trade. Typically 8+ year’s relevant experience for entry to this level. Post-graduate and/or certification/ license may be required.
    • Strong working knowledge and experience in international import and export compliance policies, audit procedures and dangerous goods transportation compliance.
    • Highly desirable, but not mandatory, are any or all of the following: technical, financial or scientific background, experience in Logistics, Customs (Import) Broker’s license.

    • Perform monthly financial close activities for cost accounting processes.
    • Perform monthly accounts reconciliation on inventory or inventory-related accounts.
    • Provide variance analysis and accounting-related reports to business partners or inventory business owners.
    • Participate / Support internal, external and SOX process audits, walk-through and / or reviews. Support corporate / enterprise-wide projects in relation to ERP upgrades and implementation.
    • Document and update cost accounting process, procedures and key controls in line with US GAAP & SOX compliance.

    R&D Mechanical Engineer – Refrigeration – Advanced – 2061550

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Refrigeration system design and development activities (proposals, risks assessment, concepts study, detail designs, analysis, drawings, prototypes, tests, etc.)
    • To work with external teams including design partners, contract manufacturer and suppliers on new refrigeration system development.
    • Perform engineering analysis of the existing refrigeration system.
    • Component sizing, calculation and selection for new design.
    • Thermal and refrigeration system simulation.
    • Perform engineering tests, verification tests, characterizations, cyclic and reliability tests according to product specification.

    Finance Analyst – Intermediate – 2061480

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Financial period end closing activities – month, quarter and year-end – for subsidiary set of book(s), including pre and post close analysis, corporate narratives.

    • Review of period-end major issues and reports and country score cards, working well others and cross functionally.
    • Production of statutory accounts for the assigned legal subsidiaries, including financial statements and related schedules and reporting according to US and Local GAAP as well as local legal rules.
    • Coordinate external audit and liaise with external auditors and help ensure the audit on the statutory accounts is on time and on budget.

    Roles and Responsibilities (Technician)

    • Operate, manage and control the usage of 3D printer, OGP, Instron and Milling machine including pre and post processing process. Training will be provided.
    • Perform mechanical parts modifications.
    • Assist design team to generate 2D and 3D drawings.
    • Support lab proto build and assembly.

    Job Details :

    Responsible to build and test spectroscopy instrument/accessories/spares to meet daily production shipment plan and ensure good Quality product at all times.

    Duties may be related to new NPI product line setup, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing assembly and equipment, technical support of one or more production processes, product test and troubleshooting, and technical analyses and problem-solving.
