    Senior / Application Support Engineer (MES / ERP)

    Responsibilities:

    • Support MES / ERP / WMS application & project implementation. Report to IT Solution Manager
    • Work with various division/department to collect Business Requirement and Conduct Business Analysis (BA) workshops
    • Work closely with IT Solution Manager to define project deliverables, schedules & help to identify/leverage resources in order to meet project objectives.
    • Provide BA report (consists of all current processes & to-be-model), Gaps Analysis, Decision Document, Business Requirement Documentation (BRD), Test procedure (Doc 28).
    • Provide solution walkth’ru and conduct Conference Room Pilot session
    • Provide sound system solution impact / risk assessment in related to change request in highly integrated application environment.
    • Provide consultation to end-users in the area of automated systems
    • Communicate project status and issues to the IT Solution Manager to ensure timely resolution and achievement of project milestones
    • Acts as liaison between IT Division and end-users to resolve procedural questions.
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Master/ Degree in Information Technology with minimum 2-3 years working experience in supporting business applications
    • Possess working experience in any of ERP/MES/PDM/ WMS application implementation project
    • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Good and positive work attitude, willing to share/learn and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline
    • Possess JDE OneWorld, MES and WMS knowledge will be an added advantage
    • Possess strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.

    Technical Recruiter – Penang Design Center

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with Hiring Managers to determine hiring needs, qualifications and selection criteria.
    • Perform pre-employment activities including but not limited to screening resumes, conducting phone interviews and reference checks to obtain all skill, education and salary requirements from candidates.
    • Build a pipeline of top engineers by researching and engaging with the candidates.
    • Provide advice and counsel to managers on suitability of candidates to the job, the team and the company and is accountable for improving employee retention through selection of best practices.
    • Managing multiple sourcing channels, including referrals, advertising and other campaigns

    Product Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical and documentation support for all product related issues.
    • Manage product configurations and documentation (new item set up, BOM, AVL update, label, packaging).
    • Translates and documents customer information to Plexus standard format.
    • Manage product changes (ECNs/ Deviation) during NPI and sustaining stage.
    • Provide production run-time support for material and product issues.

    Manufacturing Officer/ Administrator

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for directing the activities of production operators in high volume, quality manufacturing.
    • Develop and implement action items to meet production schedules, goals and objectives.
    • Has authority for solving problems encountered during the production process.
    • This includes quality, output, materials, equipment and personnel issues.
    • Communicate pertinent information regarding production, quality, or personnel issues to the appropriate team members.
    • Participate actively in the Direct Labor retention program. Experience in SMT will be an added advantage.

    PCB Commodity Manager

    Responsibilities:

    – Responsible for the localization activities of Printed Circuit Board.

    – Identify, select and propose suppliers of choice consistent with company goal and direction.

    Mechanical Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    – Support manufacturing needs for production jigs & fixtures, process redesign / improvement, equipment design

    – Evaluate prototype tooling / design with process owner
    – Create / complete detail designs for jigs & fixtures & new processes / improvement
    – Engage with tooling vendors for fabrication, qualification and implementation of production jigs & fixtures

    – Set up / manage CAD library and tooling documentation (digital)
    – Operate / maintain 3D CAD and 3D Printer

    Requirements:

    – Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering preferably with a  minimum of 2 year experience in mechanical / tooling / jigs & fixtures design

    – CAD software proficiency, preferably in SolidWorks

    Finance Manager – Tax Compliance

    Responsibilities:

    • To setup and manage tax risk management policy and procedures, report findings to the tax risk committee organization for tax planning, tax risks control and management purposes.
    • To review and managing tax compliance, tax audits, tax filings and transfer pricing.
    • Identify tax risks and opportunities related to Company’s new investments as well as advise China operation locations on tax aspects of their current operations in the region.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional Accounting qualifications. Having 5-10 years of experience in tax management position in MNC in manufacturing industry or tax firm. Familiar with US GAAP tax Accounting.
    • Strong Malaysia tax practices and experience. China tax practices is an added advantage

    Customs and Trade Compliance Section Head / Section Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • The Malaysia Export Compliance and Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring Plexus remains compliant to the Malaysia Strategic Act, Malaysia export requirements, and U.S. Export requirements applicable to Malaysian exports.
    • Responsible for managing Customs Compliance and Strategic Trade Act program in Malaysia
    • Assists U.S. Export Compliance Manager implement export processes and controls for U.S. Exports leaving Malaysia and produce classifications.
    • Responsible for identifying new customer programs in Malaysia and gathering 7375’s (End Use Statements)
    • Responsible for audit and record keeping program for import/exports activities in Malaysia

    Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist QA Engineer to perform line process / product audit, NPI build follow up as well as CRG / RMA verification.
    • Ensure the audit reports updated correctly.

    • Assist QA Engineer to follow-up for closure of Corrective Action Report.
    • Implement ESD improvement plans.
    • Verify new purchased ESD materials meet ESD requirements.

    • Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
    • 2-3 years working experience in QA especially in Manufacturing environment (PCBA).

    Process Technician

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports production in the resolution of process issues.
    • Supports Process Engineering with process and equipment qualifications, process evaluation, and process improvements.
    • Fabricates and maintains manufacturing jigs / fixtures.
    • Performs daily set-up of Back-of-Line equipment, wave-soldering machine and aqueous cleaner.
    • Performs set-up and layout of manual assembly lines
    • Performs routine preventive maintenance of wave soldering machine and Back-of-Line equipment.

    • Creates profile boards and sets up profile parameters for wave soldering and re-flow machines.

    Requirements:

    • Technical diploma preferably with SMT/HLA/Rework experience or equivalent
    • Candidate with hardware assembly/final assembly (soldering iron skill) in PCBA assembly process is an added advantage.
