Senior Leader Project Engineer
Job Descriptions:
- Work closely with business team to understand the product features and requirements.
- To define product requirements/specifications based on IBP and to ensure the product design and development from ODM/JDM supplier meet the feature & quality expectation.
- To drive ODM partner to meet the major project milestone and to ensure the product shipping on schedule.
- To perform test verifications to ensure the designs comply with internal robustness and reliability requirement and external specifications (FCC, EC, CCC, Energy safety system & meet EPP requirement).
- Other responsibilities may include component selection, validation, qualification, yield improvements, field testing/ resolution to design issues whenever necessary.
- To drive project in meeting D Stream requirements, to drive the core team to meet project D Stream deliverables on time & quality.
- To support continuity of supply and MOL issues after project ship acceptance, to ensure product can be shipped in the market without major issues.
- To assist in developing ODM/JDM project development process and improve the efficiency of project handling.
- To work with cross functional team members such as regional team, global product team with different cultures and comfortable to work with virtual team members from remote sites.
Job Requirements:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree holder from a recognized university
- Min 2-3 years experience in Product Development environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge in product development processes. Familiar with regulatory, reliability & robustness requirement
- Possess good communication and influencing skills to work across the functional team.
- Knowledge in manufacturing requirement such as IQC, OQC, WI, IPQC are required.
- Willing to have minor traveling (about once a year)
- Experience in driving a radio product from initial stage until product launch.
- Experience in dealing with ODM/JDM vendor a bonus.
- Preferable to be able to converse and written in Chinese.
