Accounting Manager
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for the full spectrum from the initiation of projects through project implementation closure and the delivery of warranty and maintenance services.
- Business planning and financial forecasting for the region (annual forecasts, budgets, long range planning) – Key objectives: Ensuring robust business planning & analysis and execution against forecast (orders, sales, margins, cash flow, collections etc.).
- Maintaining accountability and metrics for prudent risk taking; Enhancing planning process around key business drivers, medium term opportunities (incubation), non run-rate business and structural trends (stresses, disruptions, transitions etc.)
- Partner with country leadership and regional teams to drive growth and profitability in SGP. Key objectives: Providing thought leadership and financial tools & structures to improve positioning for success in the marketplace.
- Driving financial rigor (cost control, risks evaluation, revenue recognition) in project implementations; Enhancing pricing and cost discipline in bid proposals; Improving alignment of the company’s profitability expectations to market positioning of current and new businesses (by geography and vertical); Enhancing business metrics and incentives to drive greater efficiency; Working with business partners to drive better operating efficiency in the region’s business.
- Maintaining strong control and oversight over the assets in the region. Key objectives: Ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to accounting policies and procedures, strong compliance with regulations and standards, transparency in business prospects.
- Working with the regional channel controller to manage the channel business
- Managing Direct and Indirect Tax in SGP with support from Global Tax team
Job Requirements:
- +5 years experience performing various finance roles including substantial controllership at systems sales and deployment
- CPA/MBA/CFA qualifications will be plus for the role.
- Strong understanding of local accounting and US GAAP standards. Deep knowledge of corporate and operating finance fundamentals
- Quick learner and critical thinker, ability to manage and resolve problems
- Experienced in negotiating complex commercial contracts on large scale technology infrastructure roll-outs and project risk management
- Strong communicator at leadership level and effective in working across functions and in matrix environments
