Principal/Senior Staff Quality Engineer
Job Descriptions:
- The candidate will be supporting Devices product and business teams.
- The candidate will insure that new programs are delivered with required quality and will work with all teams to drive the right processes to achieve success. Additionally the candidate will drive customer issues to quick and acceptable resolution as well as driving product Stop Ships to resolution in support of the business.
- Planning all quality related activities, metrics, goals for New Programs.
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation on new programs and shipping products in areas of responsibility.
- Communication both written and verbal on action plans and status related to issues on either New Programs or customer/Supplier issues.
- Continuous improvement via six sigma project approach.
- Execution of and continuous improvement in our 3P’s(Predict, Prevent, Protect) strategy.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- At least 7 years of working experience in a Hardware based engineering discipline is preferred such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in either product development or manufacturing required.
- Quality skills such as Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or similar.
- Proven problem solver with good analytical and data driven skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Prior work experience in an engineering/quality or technology role.
- Must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
