Senior Process Engineer (SMT/DFM)
Job Descriptions:
- Drive concurrent engineering activities to ensure product design requirements align with manufacturing requirements.
- Utilize DFM (Design for Manufacturing – SMT process for PCB and Flex) methodology to provide critical analysis of manufacturing processes and generate improvement actions.
- Develop supplier to provide best in class manufacturing processes to support New Product manufacturing requirements.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing process.
- Continuously develop and seek new process breakthroughs that improve quality, productivity and cost.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Candidate should have at least 3 – 8 years of working experience in the related field.
- Candidate must possess below experience and knowledge :
-SMT process for Flex and PCBA
– Familiar with DFM Design Rules for PCB/Flex SMT process
– Familiar with PCB pad / paste design
– SMT defects troubleshooting
– Failure Analysis of solder joint
– Familiar with statistical tool such as PFMEA, SPC, DOE - Experience/knowledge in below technology/methodology is an added advantage
- Familiar with Valor DFM tool
- Mechanical assembly process
- Familiar with best practices in mechanical assembly and assembly jig/fixture design
- Excellent communication, reporting and analytical skills. Individuals with strong personal interaction skills are encouraged to apply.

- Must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
