    JOB PURPOSE: (Why does the job exist?)

    To provide support for continuous plant operation, reduction of operating cost and quality of product from maintenance scope of work in Maintenance Department.

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: (Minimum attributes for the job holder to be effective in this job in terms of education, qualifications/ certifications, work experiences, specific job skills, computer literacy, language/communication skills, personal competencies, work environment & physical effort)

    1. Education: Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other related field from recognized institution
    2. Qualification/Certification: Welding certification and other related certification.
    3. Year Of Experience: 3-5 years
    4. Specific Job Skills: Welding ,Metal fabrication
    5. Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office
    6. Language/Communication skills: Able to write and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    7. Personal Competencies: N/A
    8. Work environment & physical effort: Able and fit to work in dusty and hot environment

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORIZATION 

    1. Undergo all mechanical activities/assigned by maintenance department.
    2. Reporting to senior maintenance Superintendent.
    3. Repair, fabricate,install,modify and upgrade all Mechanical equipment and system within factory.
    4. Routine inspection of all machinery performance as assigned by superior.
    5. To attend any breakdown/repair works immediately when necessary as required or instructed by Maintenance Superintendent or Maintenance Engineers.
    6. To work on shift / normal working hours and additional hours when necessary.
    7. To work on shift/normal when required as requested by superior.
    8. To troubleshoot on mechanical issue upon breakdown (assist shift fitter when required)
    9. To carry out daily preventive maintenance as scheduled.
    10. To troubleshoot and repair all equipment as given timeline by superior.
    11. To respond to emergency breakdowns as when required within the stipulated allocation provided by Superior (not confining to usual/routine working hours)
    12. Maintain good housekeeping at working area
    13. To monitor all machines operating condition.
    14. Responsible to maintain and sustain all running&spare pumps.
    15. To Participate In Training Module Assigned By Engineering Department
    16. To comply with PGF safety,health and environmental policies
    17. Any other job responsibly as assigned by superior when required.
