JOB PURPOSE: (Why does the job exist?)
To provide support for continuous plant operation, reduction of operating cost and quality of product from Electrical and Instrument scope of work in Electrical Department.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: (Minimum attributes for the job holder to be effective in this job in terms of education, qualifications/ certifications, work experiences, specific job skills, computer literacy, language/communication skills, personal competencies, work environment & physical effort)
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Electrical /Electronics from recognized institution.
- Qualification/Certifications : N/A (Preferably with a minimum AO/ Chargeman/PW2 certification)
- Years Of Work Experience : 3- 5 years.
- Specific job skills : Able to perform troubleshoot an electrical breakdown for machine & instruments.
- Computer literacy : Microsoft Office.
- Language/communication skills : Able to write and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Personal competencies : N/A
- Work environment & Physical effort : Able and fit to work in dusty and hot environment.
OTHERS
- Maintain safety discipline and housekeeping factory machinery and tools.
- To perform all scheduling / preventive maintenance task as per arrange by superior.
- To update shift report via tele-communication.
- Work with other Electrical Team members to support Production for continuous operation of the plant.
- Perform daily power consumption checklist for Medium Voltage and Low Voltage
- Check and monitor all machinery working condition and up-keep maintenance record.
- To perform weekly engine warm-up for diesel engine (pump) and power generator.
- Assist the management in energy saving through equipment saving.
- To do electrical wiring works in a safe an efficient manner as stipulated in the relevant.
- Execute compressor/ dryer troubleshooting and ensure air compress system operating with minimum assist.
- Perform electrician skills including pneumatic, hydraulic, sensors, troubleshooting and repair of machinery system.
- To supporting engineers to reduce downtime and improvement project.
- Responsible to service and maintaining frequency drive’s and other speed controlling units.
- All other tasks as assigned to by superiors as and when needed.
