Histotech Engineering Sdn Bhd were incorporated in the year 1992 to provide quality precision tooling products for the local semiconductor test and assembly industries. Since then, we have expended from a small rented shop lot in town to a medium manufacturing factory to serve our customer better.
Combining years of experience in making precision tooling, spare parts & metal stamping of process carrier for the assembly of chips. We emphasize on quality services, on time delivery and the expertise from our dedicated and committed team.
We’re the high end mechanical integration services provider. We design and manufacture the mechanical parts for the international market.
Outsourcing Engineer
Responsibilities & Objectives:
- Responsible to sourcing the mechanical parts & ensure goods are purchased according to specification given.
- Source and liaise with suppliers on evaluation results and improvement plan
- Monitor and coordinate with all new and existing supplier performance from time to time
- Negotiate on cost, terms and conditions of all purchases with supplier
- Liaise with suppliers for corrective action request related to supplier quality and delivery problems.
- To undertake any other related jobs directed by superior from time to time.
- To keep track of supplier’s performance.
- To prepare, collate and do analysis on purchases reports for submission to management
- Fully in-charge of purchasing daily operations.
- To prepare PO according to the order requested.
- To maintain accurate record of PO and up-keep of purchasing documentation.
- Additional ad-hoc tasks by Management and supervisor.
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of Relevant Work Experiences.
- Good Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD/SOLIDWORKS.
- Strong knowledge in reading & Understanding Engineering Drawings.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management, time management, decision making and problem solving skills.
