Histotech Engineering Sdn Bhd were incorporated in the year 1992 to provide quality precision tooling products for the local semiconductor test and assembly industries. Since then, we have expended from a small rented shop lot in town to a medium manufacturing factory to serve our customer better.
Combining years of experience in making precision tooling, spare parts & metal stamping of process carrier for the assembly of chips. We emphasize on quality services, on time delivery and the expertise from our dedicated and committed team.
We’re the high end mechanical integration services provider. We design and manufacture the mechanical parts for the international market.
Demand Analyst
Responsibilities & Objectives
- Determine demand forecast to support inventory control operations for assigned warehouses.
- Monitor inventory levels and warehouse capacity in order to fill-up warehouse needs.
- Maintain a database for Store and update inventory data on regular basis.
- Maintain optimal inventory level by analyzing demand patterns and changes.
- Support inventory planning for holidays and special promotions.
- Coordinate with Department Head (HOD) in analyzing and troubleshooting issues related to material supplies and deliveries.
- Ensure that warehouses are maintained clean, safe and orderly.
- Work with HOD to approve invoices for material storage and handling activities.
- Assist in resolving any warehouse related issue and concerns.
- Propose improvements on process to prevent out of stocks and overstock issues.
- Analyze root cause of inventory problems and provide permanent resolutions.
- Assist HOD to support rollout of new products.
- Schedule regular meetings to review demands and inventory levels.
- Work with Business Development team to identify sales opportunities and forecast.
- Make adjustments to the stock levels based on customer demands.
- Make use of the analytical, marketing, and sales data of company to effectively estimate future product demands.
- Additional ad-hoc instructions from Management and/or HOD.
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain or other relevant fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning, forecasting role or other relevant fields.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Attention to details.
- Confidence in using computer packages such as spreadsheets and databases.
- The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills.
