Histotech Engineering Sdn Bhd were incorporated in the year 1992 to provide quality precision tooling products for the local semiconductor test and assembly industries. Since then, we have expended from a small rented shop lot in town to a medium manufacturing factory to serve our customer better.
Combining years of experience in making precision tooling, spare parts & metal stamping of process carrier for the assembly of chips. We emphasize on quality services, on time delivery and the expertise from our dedicated and committed team.
We’re the high end mechanical integration services provider. We design and manufacture the mechanical parts for the international market.
Design Engineer
Responsibilities & Objectives
- To hold responsibility in handling all drawings of projects delegated.
- To work closely with Project Engineer on F.A. Parts.
- For any dimensional & drawings spec’s clarifications should co-ordinate with Project Engineer.
- On development of part any special instructions need for processing the part must inform to Process Engineer.
- Must save all developed drawing in server at common folder.
- Drawing revision change must update immediately in server.
- Ensure all the developed parts are using latest revision & the old shall be moved to other folder for future reference.
- Retrieve all developed soft copy from server at common folder & update necessary changes accordingly.
- To update all information & data to HOD.
- To report to Project Engineer on technical clarifications.
- Additional ad-hoc instructions from Management and/or HOD.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fields.
- Minimum with 2 years’ experience in mechanical engineer or other relevant positions.
- Competent in using SOLIDWORKS, Auto Cad & Solid Modeling.
- Strong knowledge in reading & understanding engineering drawings.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good planning, organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Confidence in using computer packages such as spreadsheets and databases.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
