Programming Trainer
Roles and Responsibilities:
1)Learning and understanding the current lesson plan and teaching materials.
2)Developing, improving and implementing STEAM programs such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript and etc.
3)Create pre-recorded video lessons and online materials.
4)Conduct online and offline lessons.
5)Design and build Internet of Things(IoT) learning tools for young students using Micro:bit, MakerUno and other related hardware.
6)Update attendance, lesson progress chart and give feedback for post teaching evaluation after each class.
7)Guide the students through the development of various sample projects.
8)Participating in discussion to improve the needs of all parties (such as parents, students, affiliates and trainers).
9)Do reading on relevant subject matters (such as Computer Science, Scratch, MIT App Inventor, AI, Game Design, Python and etc.)
10)Learn new skills and always stay updated on the current new tech developments.
Job Requirements:
1)It would be an advantage to have an academic background in Computer Science/ Engineering and other related fields.
2)Past teaching experience or passion in teaching.
3)Able to travel when needed.
4)Able to communicate in Mandarin would be great (do not have to know how to read).
5)Can work well individually and in a team.
6)Able to work on multiple and challenging projects at the same time.
7)Desire to contribute and positively impact society.
