Position Objectives:
- Assist with all aspects of warehousing related functions including but not limited to receiving, handling, storing, and picking product while ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
- All work activities are conducted in a safe manner, in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- ERP (Odoo) processing will be accurate and timely.
- Maintain open channels of communications within the Warehousing Team and with other departmental personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all Odoo processing and documentation with accuracy to reflect warehousing activities and transfer of stock into and out of warehouse.
- Ensure all goods received are suitably packaged and accurately labelled prior to shelving.
- Picking components from the warehouse as specified by the Sales Order in a safe and timely manner to meet production and dispatch schedules.
- Assist with transfer of items into and out of warehouse.
- Attend and contribute at regular team tool-box meetings and other meetings as required.
- Assist in maintaining tools and equipment, and report remedial actions required to the Warehouse Manager.
- Following company procedures, report / document actual as well as potential health and safety issues.
- Keep your working environment clean, tidy, and clear of clutter always and adhere to all other health and safety regulations in your workplace.
- Strategically shelve products to avoid damage to items and maximise storage within the warehouse.
- Adherence to FIFO warehouse process.
- Identify or create stock room locations for goods received.
- Operate all tools and machinery including the ladders, forklift, pallet jacks, in accordance with H & S requirements.
- Monitor inventory for stock shortages which may require back order.
- Follow Kanban procedures for managing stock levels of miscellaneous goods or consumables.
- Assist with stock-takes and perform daily cycle counts.
- Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the warehouse, inwards goods, or dispatch.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma level of education.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehousing position
- Forklift operating certification and training.
- Good understanding of written and oral English language.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with ERP system processing

- Flexible – willing to help with other roles within wider warehouse and factory.
- Proven MOJ clearance – this will have to be maintained during employment with SSBL.
