ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATE (AP/GL)
Job Responsibilities:
– Prepare monthly account analysis/reconciliations of all corporate general ledger accounts.
– Act as the point of contact for the accounts payable process, specially PO processing.
– Prepare bank reconciliations.
– Perform invoice coding for non-standard payments.
– Research month-end expense variances to budget and prior year.
– Ensure internal controls are observed.
– Prepare audit schedules to support the annual external audit.
– Facilitate audits required by third parties such as vendors, customers, taxing authorities, etc.
– As needed, provide additional analysis and financial support to regional and corporate leadership for standard and ad hoc reporting requirements.
– Work with management to help resolve questions regarding financials
Job Requirements:
– Minimum Diploma in Accounting or other related fields
– Bachelor’s degree holder in Accountancy or any Accounting related degree
– Preferably with BPO / Shared Service experience
– Must have at least 1-year of work experience in general accounting, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, cash receipts application, Intercompany transaction (Welcome fresh graduate/diploma Applicants)
– Knowledgeable in accounting software preferable (Xero/Quickbook/MYOB)
– Organised, detailed and deadline-oriented
– Able to work both in a team environment and independently
