 Job Description:

• Responsible on product design as well as new product RFQ.
• Review customer part design and able to propose DFM.
• Manage new product and tooling design activities to ensure proper new start-up compliance to customer requirement.
• Build up Bill of Material (BOM) into ERP system for new product as well as BOM update when there is ECN.
• Capable to handle tooling problem, troubleshooting and tooling improvement and problem defining.
• Work with Engineering & Production team, QA and SCM for any new project issue and propose corrective & preventive action with total documentation to ensure achieving targets and timeline.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, schedule changes and recommending actions.
• To liaise with customer for any technical issues during new product development.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Responsible for ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and/ or ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 documentations

Requirement(s): 

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Engineering (Mechatronic) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): AutoCAD, Designing
• Knowledge in software such as Solidwork,ProE
• Knowledge in Project Management skills is essential.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in part design, tool design.
• Able to comprehend and interpret part/tooling drawings and technical instructions.
• Experience working in a highly dynamic product development environment as well as a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency communication skills and able to work independently and as a team player as well as interact with people at all levels
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia,
• Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and/ or ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standard requirements
