Critical Manufacturing, a pioneer in multi-site, future-ready manufacturing execution systems (MES), is pleased to announce its expansion into Penang, Malaysia.
1 – Software Application Engineers
In this role, you will be:
1. Designing and developing software applications based on given requirements and specifications, including testing & commissioning and debugging of software applications.
2. Collaborating as a project team member on software design matters and identifying issues.
3. Capturing and evaluating customer and internal requirements.
4. Identifying and tailoring suitable concepts in terms of function, technology, and effort.
5. Adhering to Good Software Design & Development Practice.
6. Developing and producing technical reports, process flow diagrams, design analysis and documentation in support of design and developments.
7. Performing basic troubleshooting.
8. Translating user requirements into design specifications.
9. Maintaining and developing documentation for projects.
You have/ are:
1. Minimum of a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum 0-3 years of working experience in related field is required.
3. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
4. Required to have experience with:
a. Design & development of applications using C# /.Net
b. Relational database (T-SQL)
c. Source control tools (preferably Git)
d. Web Development (ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript and Angular)
e. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
f. Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming and MVC concepts will have added advantage.
5. Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
6. Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
7. Customer-oriented and committed to working systematically under tight schedules.
8. Strong people and communication skills.
9. Possess own transport.
10. Travel to client’s site may be required.
Extra awesome if you have experience with:
1. Unit testing frameworks.
2. Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
2 – Senior Software Application Engineers
In this role, you will be:
1. Designing and developing software applications based on given requirements and specifications, including testing & commissioning and debugging of software applications.
2. Collaborating as a project team member on software design matters and identifying issues.
3. Capturing and evaluating customer and internal requirements with minimal supervision.
4. Identifying and tailoring suitable concepts in terms of function, technology, and effort.
5. Developing and producing technical reports, process flow diagrams, design analysis and documentation in support of design and developments.
6. Innovating, proposing new ideas and defining the technical approach to challenging problems.
You have/ are:
1. Minimum of a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
3. Required to have experience with:
a. Design & development of applications using C#/.Net
b. Relational database (T-SQL)
c. Source control tools (preferably Git)
d. Web Development (ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript and Angular)
e. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
f. Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming and MVC concepts will have added advantage.
