Web Application Developer
Job description summary (roles and responsibilities) :
- Develop and maintain Java or .NET web applications that meet the specifications
- Communicate regularly with senior and executive management on matters concerning development issues and roll-outs
- Work closely with peers and cross functional teams across different regions and time zones, to ensure timely and high quality project deliverables
Required qualification, skill and experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Web Application Development using the related technologies
- Technology skills :
- Web UI (HTML5, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript), Java, JEE, SQL and JDBC –
- Or C#, Asp.net
- Web Services (SOAP, REST, and JSON) will be an advantage
- Familiar with applications/tools such as Eclipse IDE, WildFly, Oracle Database and source code version control (Git, Subversion)
- Well versed in Object Oriented Programming and methodology
- Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability
- Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams
- Strong written & oral communication skills in English
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
