JA Solar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Was incorporated in December 2014. This facility was launched in October 23, 2015 and is the first oversea production facility wholly-owned by JA Solar. JA Solar Malaysia covers an area of 29 acres. It currently employs more than 1500 staffs. It specializes in producing high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells, one of the company’s core products.
The Company in 2017 has supplied the solar modules to Malaysia’s first utility-scale 50MW solar power farm in Sabah. The energy from the sun that is harnessed from JA Solar’s products is clean and free of any pollutants; unlike various sources of energy present today like coal and natural gas. We are proud to be able to contribute towards saving the environment and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
Process Engineer
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for solar cell process optimization. Provide technical support for manufacturing, improving product quality, optimizing process parameters to improve PV conversion efficiency.
- Fix common and re-occurring issues in production / factory.
- Understand customer requirements and improve product quality by continuous improvement process.
- Perform research and development work with Equipment Engineer, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Planning and Procurement to improve and optimize manufacturing process to ensure manufacturability of the product, Expected Quality Levels, On-Time Delivery and Cost Target are meet.
- Involve in continuous improvement for product lines, failure rate improvement, cost / waste reduction, meeting yield goals through researching and exploring latest manufacturing equipment or processes.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin, – to communicate with counterparts from China. Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
- Required Skill(s): Problem solving, Proactive, Teamwork & Data Analysis
- Personality : Good time management, good interpersonal skills & able to work under pressure in a growing environment.
