SAM has an international workforce of 1,500 employees across the world and operations in Asia and Europe. Located on a new 150,000 square feet facility at the Penang Science Park, Aviatron will produce nacelle major machined parts for Entry-into-Service (EIS) aircraft, namely Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus 350 XWB, Bombardier CSeries and Mitsubishi Regional Jet.

Positions:
CNC Programmer
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance to company quality system.
- Redraw the drawing ( AutoCAD, P-CAM)from a hard copy that needs in the machining process.
- To study the drawing and generate the programs and work instruction conscientiously.
- To propose and arrange the daily jobs with shift leader which type of particular jobs is suitable for which machines to operate.
- To ensure all the programs well keep and organize for easy tracking.
- Project handling and delegating job/work responsibilities to the subordinate.
- To develop a good relationship with all level of staff to ensure project assigned is arranged and coordinated effectively and efficiently.
- Involve in technical discussion with the customer when required
- Work with QA and process engineering in developing PQP.
- To provide guidance and job training for subordinates to perform daily responsibilities effectively.
- To develop simple design jog fixture for assigned project.
- To develop quality process control to meet Customer standard and Customer expectation.
- To assemble the new parts design and troubleshooting.
CNC Machinist (Milling)
- To coordinate and solve any technical problem with your knowledge to get the job done on time.
- To analyse and work independently on technical drawing, calculation, set-up, process, method, machine operations, tools and equipment.
- To prepare the weekly progress report.
- To propose the technical improvement of the fabrication process, method and speed to meet company standard.
- To have a commitment on estimate hours and lead time when required.
- Responsible for arranging and completing all assigned job in time.
- Maintaining machines and arranging machines to be served when required.
Planner
- Responsible for scheduling of timetable for all new project to ensure jobs done within customer required date.
- Co-ordinate purchasing of raw materials, standard parts and arrange for sub-contractors when necessary to get the job done in time.
- Preparing weekly and monthly production plan schedule.
- Prepare monthly operation performance review in term of production productivity machine and manpower utilisation.
- Taking corrective action on behind schedule project to ensure the job done effectively
- To co-ordinate with production people to ensure all job assigned is done within schedule time.
- Daily update to management on status of the production schedule, problems is done within a solution.
- All others responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years production planning experience in the manufacturing environment.
- Good computer knowledge & able to communicate with all levels of staff.
- Able to work under minimum supervision.
- Able to meet a tight deadline.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Penang Science Park.
Buyer
- To perform materials planning functions.
- To procure the right parts/quantities with the required quality, on time to minimize production loss hours/obsolescence and to meet the Master Production Schedule.
- To plan and calculate when the purchase order must be made in order to meet the production required date.
- To forward projection of orders to vendors in order to reduce lead time and production costs by maintaining stock and minimize the inventory cost of the company.
- Responsible for selecting and coordinating of vendors from the Approved Vendor List for purchases.
- To perform daily Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order Processing.
- Checking availability and confirming or orders with the vendors in respect to price, quality and delivery dates.
- Cutting of Purchase Orders to vendors on time.
- To follow up on outstanding purchase orders and expedite delivery of goods.
- Follow up on rejected (MDR) or wrongly sent parts and ensure the punctual return of the parts.
- Formulating customer and vendor relationship and monitoring on-time delivery, quality, pricing etc.
- Other administrative duties related to purchasing, example issuing and sending of PO, filing etc.
- Perform all other assigned purchasing duties assigned by superior.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Production Engineer
- Co-ordinate, manage and supervise all the operation process in the production.
- To monitor the planning process, estimate hour, scheduling and commitment date when a project is assigned.
- Plan and coordinate the production process flow.
- Take corrective action on behind schedule project and budget effectively.
- Propose continues improvement in the production process
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow
- Maintain product and process database to analysing the NC part
- To develop a good relationship with all level of staff to ensure project assigned is arranged and co-ordinated effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible for process and product quality improvement to meet company standard and Customer Quality requirement.
- Develop a quality process in his department effectively with minimum cost budget.
- To solve the technical problem effectively.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by Superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): CNC Machining.
- Preferably [Position Level] specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
